from the tombs,
first in a series of four action figures of cybermen from various different doctor who stories. this one is the cybermen from Doctor Who – The Tomb Of The Cybermen [1967] [DVD] [1963] when they had silver jumpsuits and tubes and handles on the side of the helmet.
It’s slightly higher than six inches, and recreates the look of the cybermen from that story. It doesn’t have the jaw panel that opens when it speaks because that would be a bit impractical on a small figure, but that’s only a minor criticism because beyond that this is an excellent job at recreating the design.
the head can be twisted, as can the elbows shoulders and hands. and there’s also articulation at the waist, top of the legs, knees and ankles.
it comes complete with some of the parts for a figure of the cyber controller from the same story. to get the rest of the parts for that figure you need to buy the other three figures in this range which are from the stories tomb of the cybermen the invasion and the next doctor respectively.
all in all a very good recreation of the original cybermen and a figure that looks great on my shelves
