Easily Solved Fault,
Not realy a review more a tip

Good fun, doesn’t really work on carpet.
The Fault
If you look on the inside of the battery cover on the dalek your notice that are holes for the positive end of the battery to fit in, these are too deep not helped by the screw ends next to them sticking out. The battery ( i tryed 3 different makes ) can not touch the plate so they can’t power the dalek. This problem is simply solved by removing the pastic cover over the connecters which only requires a phillips head screwdriver and the removal of 2 screws. This cover seems a bit redundant as it does not fix the connecters in place and the batterys are firmly held in place without it. Once you’ve done this enjoy, just not on carpet
Still gets 4 star because it was fun and once you know about this problem is quickly solved

|Daleks are Superme,
Well I really wanted a new remote control Dalek so went out looking for one of these new smaller ones. Initially I was put off by the reviews posted on Amazon which seemed to indicate they didn’t work. However I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I love it. Its a good little toy based on the newest Dalek design, with deeper Dalek voice sounds, I’m yet to get a second one in order to have them battle each other however I certainly reccomend this toy.
The dalek struggles a little on carpeted areas, as the front wheel is a small ball point, but it does still work.
Buy this or the Daleks will Exterminate you.

|Worked for 10 minutes
This toy was so much fun for the ten minutes that it worked for, my son was thrilled with it and all the grown ups were vying for their turn. Sadly it all turned sour as it stopped doing anything other than go in circles. We now have one very sad 6 year old and the grown ups never did get to have a go
