Doctor Who 2010 Paradigm Wave Figure – Yellow The Eternal Dalek

  • 6″ Dalek
  • Collect all 5 in the Series

Many years ago, the Daleks sent out thousands of egg-shaped Progenitors containing the genetic coding of the race, so that new Daleks could be created whenever necessary. One of these Progenitors was found in war-torn England during the Second World War and transported to a Dalek ship. However, because the Daleks that found it had been genetically modified by their creator Davros, using his own DNA, the Progenitor did not acknowledge them as pure Daleks, until the Doctor identified them as such

Well the important bit is that these are compatible with lego and cobi blocks.

Each dalek is made up of 9 pieces, 3 of which are tiny(eye and guns).

They are made by a company named ‘character building’ which is ironic as all the daleks come already made!

The only other thing that I find bad is the price, 45 pieces at the RRP is twice as much as even lego would dare charge.Thank god amazon prices are usually lower than RRP.

So that is why I knocked the rating down, otherwise my son loved to play with them and stick lego heads on instead of dalek ones!

The heads do swivel round as well!

    Hope this helps

Another Doctor Who action figure, this one depicting one of the new kind of Daleks first seen in the tv episode ‘Victory of The Daleks.’ A redesign of the Daleks that attracted a fair amount of opinion. A lot of which was negative.

But if you don’t mind the new look and you want the figure, then what’s it like?

It comes in packaging with a sturdy cardboard backing and a strong clear plastic front. The packaging allows for the figure to be displayed very nicely without being taken out of it. But if you take it out, then you won’t be able to get it back in.

This is of the Dalek Eternal, the yellow coloured one of the new Daleks. Like the new Daleks on tv, it’s bigger and sturdier than the earlier versions. Thanks not least to a very large base.

The middle section that the gun and sucker fit onto is fixed in place, but it’s very sturdy, although the gun and sucker can be removed. Thus this has parts that are choking hazards and is not recommended for those under three.

The eye stalk can also be removed.

The top of the dome can be turned around and the three appendages can be moved up and down but those are the only bits of articulation that it has.

But it’s big and sturdy and feels ever so solid. And it glides along nicely thanks to the three wheels on the base.

It’s a fine recreation of this type of Dalek.

Really glad I got this figure to add to my ever growing collection of doctor who figures, eternal really makes a good addition to the collection. It came on time, nicely packaged and easy to open up, the figure itself was and still is in excellent condition.

all in all I give this figure 5 stars all the way.
